Who provides the Alcohol for the event?

Due to AGLC's rules and regulations, we are not legally allowed to purchase alcohol for your event. Our certified bartenders will serve the alcohol that has been purchased by you. We can however, advise on which vendors we recommend when you are planning your purchases.


How much does it cost to hire Scotch&Soda Mobile Bar?

Pricing is based on the number of guests and hours of service; because of this, each quote will need to be customized according to your needs. To request a quote please visit the contact page of our website and fill out our form, you can expect a customized quote back within 24 hours. Please also check your junk folder as sometimes emails can get lost here.


Can you offer a $2.00 bar?

Certainly! we can offer a toonie bar. As well as an open bar, ticket bar or cash bar.


Do you offer a deposit option when booking?

Yes we do, at the time of booking we request a $500 deposit to secure your date. The final balance is due 14 days prior to your event.


Do I need a licence to serve alcohol at my event?

Yes, obtaining this is the responsibility of the event holder at each event. AGLC outlines their different types of liquor licenses very well on their website and we can guide you through the process once you are booked if you require any assistance.


Do you have liquor liability insurance?

Yes, we do carry liquior liability insurance year round.

What options do I have for on-tap products?

This is a growing list that is not just catered to your alcoholic based products! These days you can look into ordering: Domestic Draughts, Local Craft Beers, Craft Cocktails, Craft Mocktails/Sodas, Wine & Champagne/Prosecco. Options are pretty endless and we absolutely encourage these options. Our built-in kegerator allows us to serve either 1 full keg (up to 50L) or two 1/2 kegs (25L). This ensures that your keg will pour with less foam and is guaranteed to be served cold!

*Special instructions will be provided to our clients upon ordering any kegs, including the upkeep until time of serving.


What is included with each event rental?

Rental of the mobile bar unit, full set up prior to your guests' arrival, take down and clean up, professional bartenders, mix, ice, clear plastic cups, garnishes, straws, napkins, beer coolers, a kegerator, two 5 gallon glass water jugs for self serve water, consultation leading up to your event on what alcohol to buy to suit your unique bar menu, and basic bar decor.


What insurance do you have?

In the case of an accident, we always carry general event insurance and liquor liability insurance. With AGLC rules, the event holder is required to purchase a liquor license and have a copy of all receipts for the liquor purchased present at the event.


Do you require a power hook-up?

We will require one available power outlet on its own circuit to run the necessities of the mobile bar. If there is no power on-site we can add a generator rental to your package. If you have add-ons such as espresso machines, slush machines, space heaters, etc. we will require further access to power sources. Please be aware of your caterers needs for power, as there may be additional planning needed.


Do you have trained bar staff?

Yes, all of our staff are Pro-Serve trained and have several years of industry experience.


What is the size of the trailer?

The trailer is approximately 14ft long x 6ft wide x 8ft tall.


What kind of drinks do you serve?

Wine, champagne, soft drinks, mocktails, cider, beer, various cocktails. If there is something specific you would like to add please feel free to reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate.
